How does the control panel work?
Firstly you need to register your account. Once you have registered your account you can login into the system on the homepage of the website. From here you have a few options:
Dashboard
With the dashboard you will be able to view your listings and edit them making any changes that you are allowed to make.
Edit Profile
You will be able to change your email address and password here.
My Favourites
My favourites allows you to keep track of your favourite listings that you want to keep track of.
Add Listing
You will be able to make a new lisitng here for any of the numerous listing options that we have.
How do I add a listing?
To add a listing is relatively simple. Please just make sure that all essential fields are completed?
With regards to the map you have three ways of ensuring that the Google map shows the proper location.
- Firstly by entering your address and then selecting “Set address on map” (Due to english & afrikaans naming of the streets this does not always work)
- Secondly by entering your GPS co-ordinates in the latitude and longitude sections.
- Thirdly by moving the marker on the map. This will automatically update your GPS co-0rdinates on the map. You can zoom in an out of this map to better locate your properties marker on the map.
With regards to the twitter and facebook sections you can enter your companies page links in these text boxes and the front end of the site will link directly to your social media pages.
Why do you show your contact details on my listing?
All paid listing will have your contact details with direct telephone, email and website address. All free, commission based listings will show only our contact details.
How does the commission listing work?
We list your establishment with our contact details. Once a potential client contact us we then ensure that you have availabilty firstly and secondly we confirm the price. We will then revert back to the particular party and should they accept your establishment we will then take a 50% deposit for the booking.
From this deposit we hold 20% (This is 10% commission of the total booking value) and the credit card fees should they pay with this method. We will then pay back over the balance of the deposit along with the clients contact and personal details. The balance of the booking will need to be settled on arrival or however your booking system works.
If the client pays with EFT then we will still hold 20% of the deposit, but there will be no other charges unless previously arranged with yourself in writting.
